About Blissfish

Hi, I'm Michaela. I've kept tanks for over a decade — bettas, Crystal Reds, planted scapes, a stubborn reef, and the kind of late-night fishroom check-ins that only other aquarists understand.

I started Blissfish because I was tired of tracking my Caridina lineage in a notebook and watching parameter drift in my reef tank that I would have caught with better tools. The best aquarist software on the market is either a decade old or a Google Sheet, and that gap has bothered me for years. So I'm building the app I wished existed — and bringing along the people who feel the same.

Our mission

We're building the aquarium tracking tool that should have existed years ago — fast enough to use at the tank, smart enough to catch problems before they hurt livestock, and respectful enough to leave your data alone.

What we believe

• Built by aquarists, for aquarists.

  Every feature is something we needed first. If it doesn't earn a place in the fishroom, it doesn't ship.

• Your data is yours.

  Export anytime. We don't sell tank data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't train models on it.

• Beautiful tools deserve to exist for hobbies that aren't just productivity.

  Aquarists invest years and thousands of dollars into one of the most demanding hobbies in the world. The software should match.

• Slow promises, fast iteration.

  We don't market features that aren't real. What you see in the app is what we've built — and the rest is on the way.
