Terms of Service

These terms are placeholder while we prepare for public launch. Final terms will be reviewed by legal counsel before launch. They reflect how we intend to operate.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Blissfish, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Account responsibilities
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Blissfish to break the law, infringe others' rights, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or upload malicious content. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
4. Subscription billing
- Monthly and annual Pro subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
- Cancel anytime in Settings — your plan remains active through the end of the current period.
- Refunds: Monthly — none needed, you simply won't be charged again. Annual — 30-day refund window. Lifetime — 14-day refund window.
5. Lifetime deal terms
- One-time payment grants Pro-tier access for as long as Blissfish exists as a service.
- Lifetime access is tied to your account and is transferable upon death or sale of the account, but not resold.
- If we are acquired or shut down, we'll provide reasonable notice and a data export window.
- Limited to 500 customers. Once filled, the offer is permanently closed.
6. Intellectual property
You own your data — tanks, photos, parameters, notes, everything you put in. We own the Blissfish software, brand, and design. Limited license granted to you for personal use.
7. Limitation of liability
Blissfish is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for livestock loss, tank failure, or any indirect or consequential damages. Use the service as a tracking aid, not as a substitute for your own judgment as an aquarist.
8. Termination
You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice when possible.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
